Looking for a certain type of power strips

This may not exist but I am looking for a power strip that has a shut-off switch for each plug. I have done some searching but could not find any. To me this would seem like a good idea. Would this not work and why not?

They do not make it because there is no reason too and if there was, it would cost a premium that no one would pay. Look at this way, if you have to go down to physically hit that switch, then why don't you just unplug it.

would work fine, as Possessed Freak said they make them in monitor stands, so they could make them into a regular strip just the same. My GF has one under her monitor that has 6 plugs and 6 power switches. I like it, and like you wish I could find this in strip form.

Eh I'd run that ADJ thing after a high quality surge protector if you do get it. ADJ isn't exactly the best brand.
