Looking for a CD-Ripper that works as simply as iTunes

Well, I'm a Linux guy, so let's say I'm looking for something like Sound Juicer. I would like something that (like iTunes) will automatically rip once a CD's inserted, eject once done, automatically create folders per artist and album, and can support two drives at once. Again, these are all things iTunes does, but I would rather not have iTunes.

I see there's a thread just below me about CDex and EAC. I have tried both of them and find them to be unnecessarily complicated while not having all the features I'm looking for.

Thanks for your time,

I'm sorry. I re-read what I've written and realized it is very poorly worded.

I'm a Linux guy by trade, but I'm using XP. Yes, Amarok is a good program, but I use Rhythmbox and Sound Juicer in Linux.

I'm looking for a Windows program.

Sorry for the confusion, but thanks for doing the legwork.

As for a Windwos program: I like CdEx very much. It also supports CDDB which allows you to fetch the proper ID3 tags automatically from the internet.

I also used CDex. It's easily configurable, once you get it set up how you want it, you can rip CDs with a single click.

Exact Audio copy, not sure if you have the option to rip automatically but will provide the best ripping quality.

EAC seemed like a bit of a learning curve to me, but maybe I was just lacking the patience.

Is there a way in CDex to set it to automatically rip once inserted?

Also, is it possible to do two drives at once?

Thanks for the time, folks!

you can run two instances of CDex simultaneously, but that doesn't really make it faster, only if you've got a multicore processor the the encoder is not optimized for such processors.

I don't think it can be told to automatically rip the CD once inserted.

What's wrong with WMP? It comes with Windows, and matches all of your criteria except for multiple drive burning as far as I know.
