I don't want to spend well over the pound on a new case, maybe something about £60. I'll be using the gigabyte sis655 motherboard if that helps any.
I had my eye on the 'Chieftec DX-01WD' but didn't know if it would be suitable for the motherboard I'll be getting, if you think of anything better within that price range I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for any help mateys.

That mobo is an ATX motherboard. It will fit perfectly in that case. I own that case, BTW...three of them. :D They are great. Most people know this case as the Antec 1040. Same thing.

It is a big case, and that makes a difference for some people. The case has a lot of room to work inside, removable drive cages, no sharp edges and it's got awesome ventilation facilities (provisions for four case fans!). The only thing it lacks is removable mother board tray, which isn't a biggie for me either.

Nice one, the last thing I wanted when building my first computer is to buy a case that didn't fit (something that I was likely to do without help). The DX model isn't the biggest one though, I think it's the smallest one of the bunch (it looked small in the display photos), just as long as it's the right size I'm a happy chappy :)

I'm not to fond of the door of the case (to access the cdr, floppy, and so on).. but something I'll get used too!

Thanks again.
