Hello,
I am looking for a new case for my computer. The main concern is currently cooling as i lpan on ocing when i upgrade the rest of my computer. I would also like the case to look halfway decent perferably with a window. I would also like to see a cpu duct in the case. Honestly for me sound is not an option as I sleep with a radio on anyways. When i play games the house shakes so I dont think i will hear the fans. Sturdyness is a factor as the case will need to be able to make long trips occasionally. It may also end up going to a few lanpartys. I was wondering what all do you think is the best buy i can get for under $100.
Currently i am accually looking at

The both have good airflow a duct and i like the style.
I am leaning more to the top one as it has had much better reviews.

Ohhh and one more thing I hate the front bevels that hide the CDROM drives as they break to often. I am hard on cases i am in the drive bays alot and frequently move them and occasionally travel on long trips and unless the front bevel is incredibly strong i dont want it. They just break off and then look tacky.

Any other case suggestions or feedback on the cases i was looking at honestly i would rather have a better cooling case but most cases with more than one 120 mm fan seem to be way over 100$ also i hate the front bevels and both of those have front bevels what about those two cases especially the p180 how sturdy is the front door on it will it break off easily for someone who gets into it daily?

Check out the Sunbeam Transformer ATX Case at Blue Case w/4 Fans

Just add another 120mm fan to the front and its 5 fans. Case has toolless design. Only tool is needed to fasten MB to standoffs.

Fans are a littel loud though.

Simplify: Antec SLK3000-B or Compucase 6A19 - both are the same case, one has door one doesn't. See coolcases.com for variants on the 6A19. The Evercase 42x2 (4252 or 4292 for those who don't understand techie shorthand) series. Those are the best around $50. cases and they set a pretty high design standard. Few more expensive cases do it much better where it counts.
. The new CoolerMaster Cavalier or Centurion series, or if you want to spend even more, the Kingwin 424 series which is a very nice case made of 2mm thick Aluminum. The Skyhawk aluminum server case from Dealsonic.com or (a slightly diff design) from Newegg.com. Prices range from under $50 shipped to around $100. shipped.

Maethor welcome to the forums!!

I am sorry you had to deal with the obsessiveness of others!!

You will find that it doesn`t matter how you post your question--(even if you are specific in the dollar amount you wish to spend or specific in the requiurements you post) you will always have these so called trolls who will post on everythread things like-- well for an additional 40 dollars I would get the p180 etc..

When in fact they never answered at all your question!
So learn to ignore those people who are lets say p180 addicts!!

You will find this to be the case in almost everything here.
Doesn`t matter power supplies to CPU`s to video cards to Zalman vs ThermalTight vs ArcticCooling etc.

So hang tough and be patient!

Eventually somebody comes along who will answer the exact question you asdk without throwing there own twist into it!!

I understand that you not a fan of being told the same thing after you said you don't like it. You also have to understand that alot of people like the P180 (myself included) because it is bot setup for being very silent while providing some of the best cooling optoins and characteristics since this is what you asked in the beginning people will continue to throw it at you. Also keep in mind that alot of people will not read much more then a few things before posting your answer so it never got to the part where you voiced your displeasure. People tend to be very opionated when it comes to things they have had good experience with, some people call these guys Fanboys, but inreality the only real fanboys are the ones that spew nothing but crap and will refuse to listen to reason.

My Input even after what you said would still be P180, but it doesn't matter since you have alread found your case. I will also say most peoples problem is when opening the door to the full 270 degree angle and back. Honestly it seems to be made more for either standard 90 to 180 degree open for constant use or 270 degrees for limited mostly open use.

In the dictionary, next to the definition of "useless", is a picture of a selection of CoolerMaster manuals....

HEHE i did better than that. I also ordered two 90 CPM fans to go with the bad boy. Since i dont care about how loud it is. They are accually quite nice fans

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999122

I plan on putting on of those bad boys in the front and one in the back then ill use the stock one somewhere else

I will probably have them always run at max unless it is very loud but i doubt the loudness will bother me as i always have music going along with the sound of people dieing a la BF2
