looking for a cable/adapter

hi guys

my 2.1 PC speakers are connected from a coax cable to a mini jack adapter, to my X Fi soundcard. i cant use an analogue lead, because my headphone amp is using that socket.

Ive tried looking everywhere, for a single RCA (female) to 3.5mm stereo adapter. all i see is mono adaptors, or cables with 2 RCA ends.

could someone please, point me in the right direction, as i cant find one

many thanks

edit
nm, i found one. ordered from the states, so all is good

I'm not sure what you're attempting, but single, RCA connectors are mono. That adapter would split the RCA side of the signal to the left and right channels of the 3.5mm side of the connector.

im not quite sure what im attemping here either. i think ive got myself confused. the cable im using, is coaxial? thats digital, right? i was "assuming" if i get a 3.5mm stereo jack it would keep the signal digital and not convert back to mono?

yes, i am a dumbass
