Looking for a budget cell phone

Nothing fancy at all, if I can use it to make calls, send texts and tell the time at a glance, I'm happy. Anyone got any specific recommendations, or are phones in the low end of the price range all the same anyway?

Your cheapest bet would probably be a tracphone or other pay as you go thing, depending on how much you're planning on calling.
