Hello all

We need to backup two folders on an hourly basis on a business computer of hours. What is the best way to do this? One of the folders is My Documents and the other is the accounting program's data folder. Its important that the backup program can backup the files even while the accounting program is reading/writing data and ms office is writing/reading files. Is this possible at all?

Thanks!

Backing up files while they are in use is dangerous. I would suggest a "cold" backup solution.

There is a free program available, PureSync, that will do automatic file and folder syncronization for you. It's a great program.

Acronis.True.Image.Echo.Enterprise.Server.v9.7.8353

I used this software for many years.
It may backup your files or harddisks even online.
If you have oracle or mssql DB online, backup is also ok.

Dangerous, in what way ?

In an enterprise environment, you can't just get everyone to stop working while you back-up files ...
