I just picked some up last weekend at the local Fry's. Not sure if you have one in your area, though.

I got 20 feet of 1/8" flexopet for about $7 and 3 feet of 3/8" heat shrink tubing for about $2.

they sell electronic boards and solder, of course they sell heat shrink

another Q: is it possible to remove molex connector with a screwdriver?

you probably could. but for $7 at radio shack, a molex pin extractor makes it a breeze. prying with screwdrivers would probably get tiresome after a few connectors, and i think could damage the pins.

I assumed that it means "brick and mortar"; ie., a non-Internet store that you could physically go to.

shady06 - In the Burbank Fry's the Flexopet stuff is in the same aisle as the heatshrink tubing and all the cable ties. They have a hard time keeping the 3 or 4 various sizes of the Flexopet in stock though.
