<< Just looking to get a 4x2 as I don't tow anything or go off road, no need for 4x4. >>

I just need a truck to drive my family around. [/i] >>

No you don't need an SUV or a truck.

<< NO VANS PLEASE!!! >>

Why not? Vans are made for the exact purposes you listed and they're better at it than SUV's. Why do you want an SUV when you don't need their features and is inferior at tasks you're using it for?

<< Well as far as choices goes...I am looking for at least a 7 passenger SUV. 2 of my friends go the 2001 Landcruiser and they both paid $50,000+ for it >>

Your friends has SUV's. So you are jealous. You want to get something that's cool more than something that suits your purpose.

Sure, just like you buy your Rustler jeans at KMart, right, Jerboy? They suit your purpose without that worry about being 'cool' around your friends?

Some people have mention it, so why not throw the Yukon and Expedition into the mix? And based from experience, you can definitely get a 4x2 SR5. That dealership probably just doesn't have one allocated for. If you really want it, you can special order it straight from the factory, but dealer usually hates doing it. If you're tight on the budget, why not go for an Explorer with 3rd row seat ?
