looking for a 300W+ psu with the following specs

looking for a decent 300w+ psu that wil fit into a micro atx case with the following dimensions:

5in length (the 'front' where u actually plug hte power in)
5 3/4 width
2 1/2 height

i reeeally need this.

Also if i can't get this, is there anyway to mount a standard ATX powersupply externally?

All microATX power supplies have overheating problems, and the more wattage, the more heat.

well is it an actual problem or something that happens (i.e. of course it's gonna run hot), but the product is able to take care of itself?

To use your words: The product will tkae care of itself. But a lot of cases depend on the power supply as a part of it's cooling architecture and I don't know how well the cooling is in your current case and how much it depends on the power supply's airflow characteristics, so it's sort of hard to say how that power supply is going to work in your case and the heat issues that may or may not occur.
