Looking for a 23"+ monitor for photo editing

Hi,
MAINLY looking for a 23"+ monitor for photo editing.
Secondly for PS3 game play (GT5)
Must have HDMI

I have a few idea:
1. Samsung BX2450 24" LCD with 5,000,000:1 TN panel
2. LG IPS236V 23.6" 5,000,000:1 IPS panel
3. Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23.6" E-IPS panel 1000:1 (no HDMI)
4. BenQ VW2420H 24" 20,000,000:1 VA panel

I can understand the Apple Cinema Display is a great LCD, but it costs way out of my budget, anything similar to this kind of quality while a better gaming performance?
any other suggestion is very welcome

If you want good colors for the photo editing then a IPS panel will be your best bet, it wont be the best for gaming though. What are you going to do more game or photo edit?

I wanna do both, but 70% or more photo editing and 30% GT5(which means fast respond may require)

2. LG IPS236V 23.6" 5,000,000:1 IPS panel
so the LG one or will there be anything else that will do the same, as i have some bad experience about LG product few years ago. trying to stay away.

but the contrast ratio number is not impressive. does it mean anything?
LG IPS236V is not good enough?

should have ask this in the beginning,
my top priority is for graphics (photo edit), secondly for gaming. so both possibility is required.
I don't need a huge viewing angle, i just need deep colour(correct colour) and best images secondly good motion images (for movie and game play, PS3 GT5)

So, is TN panel out of the criteria?
what's left is VA and IPS. I see VA panel is in the middle of IPS and VA.
and there is H-ips and S-ips (H-ips is newer with better contrast ratio, is it?)
VA with good colour but worse response time, is it?
Now kinda tend to Dell U2410, BUT BUT it is very expensive. I know i am asking for top of the line product but anything alternative/similar with a lower price tag?

do you have staples rewards money? i had a bunch of empty ink and im waiting to have it applied for use you can on top of that get a dollar off coupon. After its all said in done you can get a good monitor for almost nothing, but you have to play the waiting game on the rewards.

U2311 is good,
i think everything is the same with U2410, except 16:10 >16:9, NO HDMI

And HDMI is a must in my case.

so is U2311 and U2410 only, i mean the only difference is the size from 24" to 23",
16:10 to 169 and no HDMI?

their panel and hardware are exactly the same?
