Thanks, I will check them out. I was leaning towards Elliot Sound, but it's nice to have options.

I wanted to report back that after weighing lots of different options, I decided to go in a completely different direction and purchase a plate amp like this one for my sub. It contains an adjustable internal crossover and will sum the left and right signal into an amplified mono signal. Pretty much the simplest way to get it done, especially after finding that the motherboard I bought in September, a Z170 Extreme4 , actually sounds really good to my ears.
