I'm not a big overclocker (yet) and use my pc mostly for gaming. I have a radeon 9700 pro and want to build a system around P4 2.8 or 3.06. Should I go with the gigabyte board and spend the money or are there other boards that support HT and 8x agp that would work just as well. Thanks. These forums are AWESOME!

Be aware that the benefits of AGP 8x are essentially nil with a Radeon 9700 Pro or other consumer-level cards. Now if you had a 3D Labs Wildcat 4 or something, then by all means (although there are some bugs with the Granite Bay AGP 3.0 / AGP 8x implementation).
