I'm not that good at singing or playing the guitar. But I'm trying -- the guitar part. The singing part is permanent. Heh. I thought I'd share a new song to fellow ATers. Please don't laugh.

This song is called Looking Back. It was inspired by a friend. This song was recorded using a cheap mic and Cool Edit. The guitar chords are really easy.

I liked your song very much. I would have liked it if the final chorus had a bit of a change in from the rest of the song -- a bit of a caesura right before the last line would have done nicely. If your record more songs, post those too.

I actually know nothing about music theory. I'm trying to teach myself how to play the guitar. However, I'll get some formal training after I graduate and get a job.

And, yes. This song was inspired by a female friend.

The only other song I have was a recording done by a Navy friend last year. The second version uses the same chords as "Looking Back" .. That should tell you how much about guitar playing I know.
