Shuttle AN35N
Barton 2500+@ 2.2ghz
Crucial PC2100
SB Live
Geforce Ti200
USB 2.0 PCI
Linksys NIC
2 maxtor 120
Cendyne DVD-RW
Sony CDRW
Antec True Power 430
1 CPU fan @7500rpm
2 case Fans @ 2200 RPM

MBM reports the following Voltages:

12=10.46
5= 3.10
3.3= 3.28

Bios reports the Following:

12= 10.75
5= 4.97
3.3=3.29

I never really checked the voltages before. I just recently upgraded the cpu and motherboard, and installed MBM and noticed these readings. The 12v is what I am concerned with. I am not having any problems so far but I was curious if I should go higher on the PSU.

You shouldn't need anything beyond the Antec True Power 430...

I ran: Athlon XP3000+ (333), 1GB PC2700 DDRAM, WD2000JB HDD, Sony DVD burner, Radeon 9800Pro & internal media reader on my Shuttle XPC's tiny PSU.

thanks for the reply, I didn't think so either but I thought I would double check. I am looking to get a 9700 pro or a 9800 np.

Your PSU should be fine,if you`ve no stability problems then I wouldn`t worry.

Normally I'd say: No instability = no problem. But, if either source is accurate, your 12v is more than 10% off which may be a problem when you stick the 97/9800 in there. Might want to double check it with a meter.

Those readings cannot be correct. Your system wouldn't even boot IMO. Must be somehow getting incorrect readings. I have the Antec True Power 430 in my 1080 AMG, and it is running comfortably with a fairly substantial amount of stuff on it.

well i put a meter on several of the connections

the +12v = 11.46v
the +5v = 4.96v

I checked several of the leads and they all read those readings or very close, so I m thinking that both the BIOS and MBM are wrong.

The motherboard reads the voltage from the voltage regulators, not from your PSU 12V rail. So it's pretty much a mobo problem.
