My 14 year old laptop has been fine overall. I had a drive fail and I've had to replace the cooling fan. No other failures or major issues. I really don't want to give it up and will probably still use it for some things. Plus, I have an identical duplicate I use as a backup machine. Literally, backup from this one, restore to the other. Full on hot swap.
