But the selection sucks.

I'll give you that. For somewhat recent TV shows it's pretty good (although it takes forever to get new seasons of shows that are currently on the air).

Problem is once you run out of shows, then what? My wife and I got through all ten seasons of Stargate and we're starting on Atlantis, and we've already seen all of Star Trek TNG, DS9, and Voyager, so there's not a lot left.

We're more TV watchers anyway though so it works out okay for us.
 
$30? how many dvds is that, damn.

that's 4 out at a time... too many. 1 out and unlimited streaming is $15. Worth it to us for entertainment. Hardly watch live tv anymore... commercials are annoying now. Anything else I grab from the cloud in the sky.
