I pissed my parents off by shaving my head (Mach 3 shave) two days before Christmas, so it's best that I not be around to remind them of my lack of hair.

Why're they pissed off? You're an adult. Unless they give you the typical "as long as you're under our roof ..." statement.

Shaved head = low maintenance.

It's not that, it's more that my mom doesn't like my hair being short. I've been progressively cutting it shorter & shorter, the last time I had it cut I had it shaved with no attachments. This time I just took the final step & took a Mach 3 to it. Or actually my brother did, with my permission. One way or another I have no hair, & my mother thinks I've wrecked Christmas pictures.

I just came back from my family's Noche Buena celebration and I am preparing to have my in laws over for breakfast and then to spend a few days with us starting tomorrow.

I have the same problem. I cut my hair short with the "blending" attachment (which is the really short one, its only long enough to make sure you dont cut yourself with the trimmer) of my friend's beard trimmer, and my mom complains that its "too short". I've been threatening to shave it... I havent yet, but I think I will when I get back to school. I like my hair short, but my mother always complains when she sees it, and thinks I should have grow it out for the holidays.
