Lookin' for Good Nvidia Drivers.

The Latest final drivers from nvidia are 6.31. I've been hearing of 7.17, and all these other ones. Any Suggestion on which drivers I should get for performance? I'm Upgrading from a TNT 1 to a Geforce 2 MX, so the drivers should be the same, I'm just curious as to which drivers Do you all recommend. I'm currently looking for Performance and Stability, but i'm still unsure where to download most of these other beta drivers, and which beta driver to get.

I have yet to find the 7.27 or what ever version they are. In my personal experiance with my MX, the 6.31s are slightly faster(about 2fps in Q3 and 200 3Dmarks) but the 6.18s are much more stable on my system, but your rig is different than mine. See what works for you.
 
The 6.31 work great for my MX card. I installed the 6.49 drop my fps in Q2 and Q3. So I would stay with the 6.31 if I were you.

Just use the 6.31 or 6.34 drivers. The 6.49 drivers are slower for OpenGL. There are no 7.27 drivers. That was just a stupid hoax by Zoiah from zoiah.m3dzone.com. He says he has contacts at NVIDIA and then bugs other webmasters for information on NVIDIA products. Don't believe him. He is just a stupid 16 year old kid.

I did a search on the forums, and it didn't help much, i've been hearing of all these different versions that are 10x better, and 10x worse. But, this cleared things up.

Its funny for a sixteen year old kid,I have been referred to his site for drivers by Nvidia,and hercules ( guillimont) if he is just a kid which I doubt in my oppinion hes got his $hit togather.He is one if not the first to post any new drivers

they also have the beta drivers. Just click on nvidia in the lower left hand corner, on the next page you will see a beta drivers link.
 
Well, I don't know for sure, that is just what I read on a different forum. But the fact that he is spreading false rumors makes him a stupid little kid, even if he is not 16 years old. Most other webmaster from other NVIDIA based sites don't like him.
