Lookin for a game to play against a computer while at work.

Basically I am looking for a game I can leave on in the background against the computer, so I can play at my own pace when I have free time and am not busy with something, and just leave it open when I am working so I can come back to it.

I dont like playing chess against the computer cause the computer always seems to smoke me.

Maybe on a friday, but I need something that I can minimize quickly and that is not too obvious. Like if I am playing it I only use half the screen, chess worked good for this but it is too hard against the pc and solitare is getting boring.

Again, I will refer to the fact that I need to play something that is a little less video gamish, like a board or card game. Plus I can only use half the screen.
