Lookig for a LOW-LEVEL FORMAT PROGRAM for Toshiba drives

Anyone know where I can find a low-level format util for a toshiba laptop drive?

You need to know who made the harddrive? Then go to the manufacturers site for the utility. You may even find what you want at the toshiba site.

A program like aida32 should tell you what make of hard drive you have.

If you just need to write zeros(low level format) to your drive, try Madbootit should work on any drive.

Doesn't the reconfiguration disc supplied w/the laptop do that? I have one (satellite) which came with my laptop and used it that effect (eliminating viruses, etc)
