So I went there to check out the new Panasonic G10. They actually had the new G10 set up in their little theater setup where they advertise geek squad installation. So they have a Bluray demo disc, playing various scenes from diff movies. Also had a nice Klipsh audio system set up.
Well my question is, why did it look so grainy? I mean the colors were nice, and it looked good, all except for it being way too grainy IMO. It looked comparable to my old 27"
CRT tv with normal cable broadcast....that bad... Xmen 3 was the worst. I actually thought they were showing normal def or something, but on the bottom right it said Blu-ray HD. U571 wasn't as bad, but was still grainy.
Did they have a bad hook up, or is that just how they look? Is that taken care of with calibration or something?
I noticed alot of the TV's up on the walls were the same way. The only ones that weren't were the Samsung LED and the sony setup where they were playing Demo discs(I know the demo discs are way better looking than movies)....those looked crystal clear.
Thanks for any insight, ive never owned an LCD or Plasma, just started looking recently.
