Bush blocks Russia's bid for WTO entry

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060715/ap_on_re_eu/bush_putin

Bush held Israel blameless for its punishing attacks in Lebanon and said it was up to the militant group Hezbollah to lay down its arms.

Putin was critical of Israel's use of force and said the violence "should stop as soon as possible."

yeah right...like if you stop supplying arms and stuff to Israel`s enemys......lolol

It will be interesting to get the real truth on all this stuff later after all these G8 so-called leaders finish up trying to con, bribe and arm twist each other.

What we do know is the NeoCons are chomping extremely hard on the bit to get it on with Iran. "Rumble" as they say. Meanwhile. Russia's Putin has allegedly been uncooperative in acceptive Bush's bribes to look the other way as their alleged "allie", Iran, gets itself creamed by Cheney's lust to use mini-nukes all across Iran's various hardened missile sites.

I'm speculating and don't claim to be an expert. heeheehe. We're all simply having fun tossing out our best ideas here.

It makes sense if we see Putin getting snubbed and not granted equal par status in the WTO. Everything is about war on Iran now. Go along with it and the NeoCons will reward you with some perks.

Reminds you of the way Al Capone ran Chicago don't it? The way all these turf wars are being fought these days. The common people have no say anymore in their own destiny.

If we want to really stablelize Iran, we should stop poking that hornets nest. Agreed? The mullahs over there know what will happen to Iran if they ever really seriously messed with the USA.

Imagine. Iran ever really nuking or dirty-nuking an American city. We would turn that entire country into a glassed over parking lot. No place to even park a tent.

All the arms supplying going on by the USA and Russia is part of the Grand Chessboard Strategy the superpowers are playing across Eurasia. The grand scheme of the current USA Military NeoCon planners is to control all of Central Asia. Isreal will certainly be a part of that planning process. Since many of these Pentagon planners are duel USA/Isreali citizens.

Agreed, Russia is turning into nothing so much as arms supplier to the world...especially countries and groups that couldn't develop a pointy stick, but have enough money to buy from Russia. I know pro-weapons people don't like to hear it, but if Russia hadn't massively armed a lot of the Middle East and if we hadn't armed the rest, the Middle East would be filled with a lot of pissed off people who bitched and moaned instead of bombed each other.

But as far as hypocrisies go, our's is just as bad. Holding one side totally blameless for the current conflict is not a good way to go about solving the problem. I believe that of the groups in the Middle East, Israel is certainly closest to being the good guys...but that doesn't mean they are blameless or perfect. Being close to being the good guys my Middle Eastern standards isn't all that impressive.

Oh i've got plenty of clues alright. Puzzle pieces laying on the table. I admitted i have no great genius to put it all together. I feel i'm doing the best i can though to understand what's really going on.

It's just difficult to chat with Bush supporters who start threads and lay exclusive claim to that forum space that's all. My post was right on topic and not made to hijack the theme of this thread.

You're talking about calling the kettle black and using that colloquialism to describe the fact Russia and the USA arm and support each others enemies. Well, that's common knowledge. It does not take assuming anything. The next step is following the ongoing game being played. I offered some speculation.

A NeoCon is a correct term to apply to Paul Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld, the architects of the Iraq/Afghanistan lies-for-war scam. It's really just more common knowledge.

Isreal has been selling some of the USA Military secrets we gave them to China. Missile technology, etc. Isreal also spies on and steals much of the West's advanced technology. Isreal are the keepers of an ever growing nuclear arsenal. We the people of the USA, have to be concerned with them in the future. Because with Isreal, everything is on a self-centered paradigm. Isreal first. That's the mantra. They are actually a crappy allie for these and many other reasons. Arming them to the teeth was a huge mistake in my opinion. Because we are arming a Nation with infinite hatreds of all the major Nations in the region. A recipe for a future Armeggedon.

You'll be surprised how many Russians, from businessmen to bankers to ordinary workers, will say "thank you" to Bush. Russia's bid to join the WTO has been the idea of a tiny, very select elite, but opposed by almost everyone else. They have markets for all they want to export (in fact, more markets than ability to export). They import a lot of US food, and I don't know if some of you remember the fit that the US Big Agra had two year ago when Russia restricted the import of chickens and some other stuff. Ford already felt the sting: since last week they can no longer import duty-free auto parts.

There is very little Russia can gain from joining the WTO now or in the near future. I really wonder if that wasn't just a well-played hand of politics pocker.

Russia should STFU and reincarnate that guy they just killed last week.. They have their own Muslim Extremists who they are at war with and still suck on BIG FAT IRANIAN PENIS .. F U Poopin

You know, instead of JUST saying that, how about you give him a clue? It will make you seem much less ignorant.

actually would be nice for you to provide a link or 2....Isreal has been selling some of the USA Military secrets we gave them to China. Missile technology, etc.

Arming them to the teeth was a huge mistake in my opinion. -- why becuase that way they can fight for themselves and they won`t be pushed into the sea??
If israel was to dis arm tomorrow...in 5 years ther would be no Israel......
If hezbollah was to disarm tomorrow there would be peace in that region....

Because we are arming a Nation with infinite hatreds of all the major Nations in the region.
again you have links??

You see I pegged you from the start as being anti Israel....
There are alot of people who are anti Israel whose opinion are not as turned and unsubstatiated as yours..

Did you know that Israel actually tests most of the new equipment that is developed for our armed forces because they use it on a daily basis in war conditions.
also I heard that Israel developes alot of our weapons for us or at least has a hand in the developement.

It one thing to be anti Israel but to attempt to hide that fact in such a sloppy manner is lame..lol

Well, the US is now going to sell nuclear technology to Pakistan which is a bullet or two away from being a fundamental Islamic state.

Wouldn't that be all the proof we would need that Bush is not really a US President and giving this type of info to people like that is the start of WW3?

Well, it's obvious they have no intention of putting the beast (the military-industrial complex) on a diet. They're just going to keep feeding it Big Macs and super-sized fries at the expense of the health and welfare of America itself.

Well, I don't think Russia should be doing things to discourage countries like Ford from expanding production there there, but at the same time Russia should not be giving away the house just to join WTO. Just switching all of the pirated Windows copies to legit ones could cost Russia more than all the benefits of WTO 😀

If there is money and demand for arms, it's going to be fulfilled one way or another. If it wasn't Russia, it would be China or North Korea or someone else selling arms there. Russia just happens to have very good and affordable weapons, which is a recipe for commercial success. Russia learned a lot about capitalism, needless to say.
