Mostly cuz they eat mosquitoes... and I HATE mosquitoes.
 
I've got three male cats who all fancy themselves hunters. They've brought me four birds and one squirrel so far this summer. It makes me sad sometimes, but they're cats after all.

i don't know about there, but here it has been dragonfly crazy. For about a week straight on my run i was going through clusters of dragonflies. It's been a good year for them so I think one can be spared. 😛
