IMHO, Why Wiki should be used to get a general overview rather than as a authoritative source.

If you know nothing about a subject, Wiki is a good starting place to help point you to a more authorative source. It gives you a general idea and helps to get your reaserach pointed in the direction that you may need to go. I think most people like mysef discover something in wiki that they would not have found on their own and then go cross refrence it somewhere else.

This is odd. I was looking at the sandbox earlier today, I went back to look at it again a few minutes ago and I see "You have been blocked from editing for posting potentially defamatory claims on Wikipedia..." blah blah blah.

I never edited or posted anything, the only thing I did was look at what other people posted.
