Look what popped up for sale at RUF Auto Center

Looks kinda slow, I would spend a little extra cash and get a formula one car to really maximize travel speeds.

So what engine is it? The door sticker says it's belongs to the 3.6L V8 family while the write up says it's a 3.8L H6. The 3.6L H6 is a typical Porsche engine, but this RUF is using both combinations to describe the engine.

It's probably the 3.6 that's been bored slightly to 3.8.

lulz, I work at 3234 Commander Dr. 🙂 I doubt I could get them to let me test drive it, though I might be able to get a ridealong around the block. They have some epic stuff.

i dunno that interior is pretty crappy for the price </sarcasm>

isn't that what everyone says about vettes?

Heh yeah. Vette interiors were truly bad until fairly recently though. This CTR interior gets a pass, as this is essentially a race car. IIRC, this should top out at ~211mph or so.

I think I read somewhere that 211 was for the regular 520 HP CTR2, so this 702 HP Sport model should be good for around 225 MPH or so?

At that speed, it really does need that Type-R wing 😀

*whooooosh* 🙂

I think I'd feel more comfortable in the CTR3 at those kinds of speeds 🙂

Hey, it's got all wheel drive 😉

Apparently, back in the day the McLaren F1 was the only production car that was faster. Even the Ferrari F50 couldn't keep up.

+1 Perfect for MN winters with the AWD 😉, wonder who up here owned that thing?

Also I hate you for reminding me that I should visit the Ruf website from time to time just to drool at the used car selection, nearly forgot about this site.
