The thing is, the FedEd driver comes into the office, says he has a heavy package and might need help. So I go down there and see this thing in the truck, help him up the steps, sign for it. And he never even mentions it, must be the norm 🙂

Your screwed when the boss comes in and sees that you signed for a box in that condition with THEIR stuff in it. You might as well pack your desk now...
 
I've gotten packages where the box wasn't quite tall enough so they taped the flaps up to make the box taller, then taped newspaper across the top to "seal" it up.

Does it say Tom S***** from Austin Texas? Just curious, I'm bored and wanna see if my brain filled in the blanks correctly.
