Good eye goose, unless you blew up the pic :). Yeah i got those a while ago. Im talking to a few audio people i know and have a few idea on replacements but in all honesty they do sound great. I am eye balling the Axiom towers but not sure yet (raises fist at yoyo :p).

Might want to read avsforum thread on the A2000 series. Ill be getting the A2020 next month, but only the 50". Most owners of the A2000 suggest getting the A2020 or going to the XBR2.

EDIT: You already have it up and running. Hopefully it will be a good TV.

Yeah the old toshiba is an awesome TV it was just time for me to upgrade. As far as the 2000 and the 2020 the only difference is color. I fyou want to go with the xbr2 you are spending atleast another 1k for a higher watt bulb. When viewing it will be dark so the brighter for me is not the better.

That Discovery Channel episode was about the cats that live on/around an airbase. Pretty interesting...

The thread really doesn't discuss which one looks better. Just a lot of problems with the A2000s.

Congrats on the new TV, you must be stoked! I know I was when I got my (now considered a dinosaur I guess) new 32" Sony XBR. Higher res, better contrast, more color vibrant, and more astethically pleasing. For the same price, I can probably get a 46" XBR now with some haggling.

Projection TVs are much better than back in the days, you can actually sit at an angle and still see the friggin picture.

Yeah i did read through the thread and read the issues. Nothing that concerned me too much. I've already tested the TV pretty hard yesterday and everything seems to be working perfectly. I have 30 days on it either way :).

And yeah projection has come a LONG way with viewing angles. I can almost be parallel with the tv and still see the picture. But i'll always be infront of it :)

Nice tv, can you take off that 1080 sticker? It would annoy me if I couldn't.
