last week, me and my friends went to a local graveyard to do a "ghost hunt" i took a picture at the entrance of the graveyard, and after brightening up the picture in photoshop i've noticed a white orb looking thingie thats flying across the scene. i've also noticed that these orb thingies also appears in some other pics i took of the graveyard. the picture below shows a orb, moving pretty fast because you can see the tail. i took the picture with my finepix 2600z, with a shutter speed 1/1000 of a second. nothing in the back ground seems to be moving, so i can conclude that only the orb is moving in the pic, at pretty high speed. so what do you guys think caused this?

It could be a small meteor. There was one a few days ago over the western part of the US that caused a little bit of a stir.

Where to you live?

Did you notice any orbs without looking at the pictures? Or did you only notice them once you saw the picture?

Also, a shutterspeed of 1/1000 sec at night in a graveyard without tons and tons of ambient lighting? That shutterspeed seems unlikely.

Sorry, but I think it is fvcked up to go playing around in graveyards during the day or at night. Some of us have parents, friends, and other relatives buried in cemeteries and we don't appreciate people rooting around in them to have fun. If I ever saw you fvcking around in a cemetary at night, or when I was visiting my father's grave, I would crack your damn skull.

sorry people, i didn't enter the graveyard, just outside at the entrance. i think i have mention that already. anyways, when you got ghost hunting, you are likely to choose those places to go. I am not vandelizing or anything, just taking a look see. and what about those local ghost tours? they make money for bring a bunch of people into the cemetary at night, I think thats more Fckd up.

anyways, i think that even if my shutter was not at 1/1000. you can still see that the background is not fuzzy or look like its in motion, so you know that the shutter is pretty high, even tho maybe not at 1/1000. But most likely its at 1/1000, because i didn't set to slow shutter or anything, i just took the pic and brightened it.

The dead people probby don't mind and the living are asleep. I always wanted to get drunk and go with some friends and run around a graveyard. (at least 3 friends)... or better yet, on lsd by myself.. nah, on second thought, just drunk.

Omegachi, go find the other 4 orbs and unite them to find Captain Planet!

spoookyyyyyy

or

just dust

and the EXIF info on the pictures says the shutter speed was 1/60 not 1/1000 (as omegachi pointed out, that would be pretty dark at night).....

Hey, this take me back.

Basck in high school, a girl dow nthe road from me was bored one day, so she went around her house taking pictures of random things. One picture she took was a picture of the chair that her deceased grandfather always would sit in and read books. She got the pictures back and the postive image looked fine. Nothing strange there.

But she noticed something wierd on the negative. She showed it to me and it looked like a smudge. She said it looks like her grandfather. I thought she was crazy, but I looked closer and, no sh|t, there was a ghostly image of someone sitting in the chair, reading a book. I could even make out the body and see the book. The thing that sealed it as something odd is something I'll never forget because it was so clear in the image. You could clearly make out the ghosts reading glasses. This is by far the wierdest thing I ever saw in my life. I couldn''t believe my eyes. it's in the negative, but doesn't show up in the positive and it's very obvious in the negative?
