Yeh it's quite amazing really. Like allot of countries, there's these things called safety tests that the likes of nhtsa/nhtsb actually set up and/or review vehicles including motorbikes and how they fare in crash tests and general use.

Of course not everything is reviewed and usually the most common vehicles are targetted first. Even just passing internal reviews would be hard for that cool looking bike.
