geez, MS is going a little to far, but I will die before I give up my AMD support for some MS CPU. not that I actually believe they will make a CPU for the general markets, but if they do, I hope AMD and Intel give them a good trouncing
 
Actually, MS has planned something like this before. Few years ago Intel developed software and MS was unhappy about it. They planned that is Intel starts to ship software with their CPU and/or if they start to ship Linux with their CPU's, MS buys either AMD or National Semicondutor (back then they still owned Cyrix) and start shipt their CPU's for close to nothing with their OS'es.

But, MS managed to strongarm Intel to drop it's software-developement, and that's the end of that.
