Yay, ever since 2.1 came out, Jaadu (formerlly known as Teleport, that expensive VNC app in itunes) works absolutely flawlessly now. No more crashing, refreshes rather well. I got to play games at 1fps over vnc! hahaha. I emailed the Jaadu devs if they're going to get a vnc working on a linux vnc server, and they said they're working on it. I'm very looking forward to that one. I can't wait to finally vnc to my ps3 (linux only though haha, not games) or my rig's alter ego from my iphone! woo!
I'm still tweaking the settings of UltraVNC on the windows side to see if I can get it to refresh any faster. I probably can't get the rates of refresh of the PSP's remote play function with the PS3. That'll probably drain the battery of the iPhone, so the devs of Jaadu probably limited the rate of refresh.
So yaaa.. 2.1 firmware is out. They FINALLY tell you what they fixed. It's still vague, but better than nothing. My apps run a lot smoother now, and crash-prone apps (Jaadu, that Discovery channel cannon game, etc...) haven't crashed on me yet. Finally an update that I'm satisfied with. The former two updates were terrible
