This is why I'm only piloting the survey online. The eventual population will be research scientists.

There's a double:
"have an easy time with the abstract elements of a problem"

Some of the questions seemed similar, like regarding geometry.

A lot of them for me I wanted to fill an answer like "This depends specifically on the circumstance", but I filled in I'm not sure/don't know instead.

The problem with psychological instruments is that we try to ask the same question 10 different ways, just to make sure you know what we're getting at.

I have changed the questions to say "usually you..." hopefully this clarifies the problem you were having?

And I thank you; But may I ask: Did you utilize the "I do not understand the question" or the "I do know now the answer to the question" options on the questions that you had trouble with?

I would have to say I agree, there is no context or explanation of "photo-realistic" or "verbal-list oriented" thinkers as such they may be dropped from the final questionnaire.

being a dyslexic 'tard has yet to impede my academic progress.

You should have seen me back on the old board, in 1998ish, they had to have a translator for me.

I've progressed steadily through the help of online forums and spell-checking integrated into my web browser.

I am aware that I have no idea how to spell sense/since properly (I've tried many times to memorize it); as such i usually simply replace the word, when it matters, with "being as how"

Interesting... if you don't mind, and anyone else can answer this too, did you feel bad about the prospect of answering "I don't understand the question"?

Why do you have two questions which are essentailly the converse of each other:
feel more comfortable selling your work than yourself?
feel more comfortable selling yourself than your work?

Surely answering the first question, also answers the second one.

Ditto the above with these two questions:
do well with abstractions of reality, such as music or math?
do poorly with abstract reality, such as music or math?

And to some extent, these two:
excelled at drawing or geometry as a child?
were limited in your drawing or geometric ability as a child?

This question does not make sense (to me at least - I answered 'I do not understand'):
can understand and compare high things on a highly theoretical level?

What do you mean by 'high things'; things which are high in height, or do you mean 'complex things'?
