nice...i've always been a fan of the 717...the 828 is just way to expensive?...how much was it and where did u order?

Yea I need to clean the whole thing, that an glare isn't helping it :p

I was trying to see if I can get a shot of the HUD.

sweetness. i got the same thing for $475 four to five months ago from circuit city. i also got me a case from ebay. however it turned out to be a fake sony case. i originally paid $25 for it, and after finding out its fake, i bitched at the seller and got $18 back. i can live with a fake sony case for $7.

I want that new 3MP Canon with the 10X stabilized zoom lens they have out. It goes from standard to full zoom in less than a second :D

My friend who works at CC did some testing and found that the 828 had poorer image quality then the 717.

Awsome. I was looking to buy this Camara. I love the fact that it uses IR to focus. What I really wonder is how far it can focus. The image that U took on Ur way to work, is that the best quality and the highest resolution?

One thing that I really really need in a camara is SPEED. The time I press the button and the time it accually taking the picture. Most digital camara, it takes like 1 entire second to take the pic, by that time whoever I took has ran away or stop the perfect smile that I want to take and turn into a frown.

How long does the batt last? I believe you can get a longer lasting batt for it too.

The resolution was 2560x1920, but it was normal quality.

The hud pic is kinda weird b/c its pretty dark in the car and I took the shot without a flash. Also there is a big contrast in depth .... dash and steering wheel were close and the car in front of me was further (had to focuss on the car b/c I couldn't really see the HUD

The battery is rated at about 205 min, the read out on the cam was 211 when it was fully charged.
