Look at this Scam I got in My email!!!!!

past Minister of Petroleum Resources.

The Minister has mandated me to transfer the sum of
US$14,300,000.00.
recovered from an over-invoiced contracts involving
the Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation [NNPC] into a safe
company/Private account outside
the shores of Nigeria.

I have made proper arrangement/documentation to
transfer the balance
which is retained in a coded account of the NNPC with
the Central Bank
of Nigeria. We are soliciting that you help us to
receive the fund
in trust. We cannot complete this transaction

partners here in Nigeria
and the remaining 10% will be used for defrayal of

Kind of sad that people are still greedy and stupid enough to fall for such obvious scams. Anyone who really had a way for you to "make 10K/month from home!" could just hire people at $40K/year to do the work and pocket the extra $80K.

At least with lottery tickets you have a 1-in-xx-million chance of getting rich.

Man, they used to send that one in the snail mail. We've gotten it a couple of times over the year in the mail. And once or twice in email. It's one of the oldest scams around You go to airport with money, you get beaten up, money gets stolen.

EDIT: Wrong scam I didn't read properly. But the above scam used to be pretty popular.
