I'll be the first to say that I thourghly enjoyed Doom 3. If Prey is going to be more of it, then bring that sh!t on.

Seriously, i wanna see how badly the Doom3 engine sucks in big outdoors environments...or if it can even do them decently.

Duke Forever? If DNF is shown at E3, I'll be very surprised. I still miss playing LAN games of D3D at college. Those were the days...

F.E.A.R. looks cool, but it won't become a major player like Epic, Id, or Valve.

Even CryTek, whom you'd think would have a shot at breaking into that arena, hasn't made much progress. The market has never been kind to Monolith, and I think that's the way it should stay - tradition and whatnot

Unfortunately, there will be no Duke at E3. I'm guessing because 3DR doesnt want Duke to steal any of Prey's thunder. We're looking at early to mid 2006 me thinks.

Too many high res textures, youd need a 512MB card and 2GB of memory.

Honestly Insomniak, I don't think you know anything about Lith. They have been very successful in the past and will continue to be. They have more classics than Valve, and I'd rather play them than anything Valve puts out. I'm surprised that in one thread you'd play down Blizzard's sales and then play up Valve here. Valve is worse than Blizzard, in their respective genres.

Lith makes unique and award winning games, always have.
