oh really now? awesome. so i might be getting it for $270ish(had $29 in points i used)

I bought something from them (some electronics something-or-other) a couple years ago and the price dropped by $30 in a matter of hours. I was kind of hot about it, called customer service and the guy said "sure, I'll credit it for you". Newegg did the same thing for me once also.

Read the reviews damn so close to the gtx570.

Perhaps if frys could retail it $40 cheaper then gtx570 it might be a decent option for me but still on the gate with a 6970 and gtx570 for my build.

6950 2gb > 560/570/560-448 and the 6970 in perf/$$ and perf/watt if you intend to OC (950 easy, 1ghz do-able).

plus its more future proof with the option of a 2nd 6950 2GB down the road.

the best option is however, wait a bit for 28nm gpus.
