Ive tried Toca race driver 3 and wasnt really impressed. All the Need for Speed games in the series are more arcadish for my liking. Tried the trackmania series, also arcadish fun, not what im looking for. Crashday was so-so, again too arcadish!I have also dusted off my old game called F1 challenge '99-'02 and have been playing that again but it feels like ive alrdy played the heck out of that too. I need something refreshing in the race car sim dept.

Are there any other racing sims I may have missed over the years that i didnt mention?

Thanks in advance!

You'll have to thank EA for that.

That game was fantastic.

Burnout 4 was terrible, and i havent played a PC racing demo ive enjoyed for years.

I agree. Burnout 3 was great, but 4 sucked. Hopefully they can get back into the swing of things.

Forza is great, but thats Xbox. I need Microsoft to come out with there force feedback drivers for my wheel to be worth playing on the pc.

GTR2 is probably one of the best track racing sims out, if not the best.

For a really good rally sim, I would recommend Richard Burns Rally. No other rally game comes close in realism. This game is the ne plus ultra in control and handling. Once you get the hang of it, you really feel the control of the car. No other game gives a sense of control this deep. You feel the weight transfer of the car. You feel the differential kicking in when you power oversteer. You feel the shocks working on the surface of the road. It's a truly marvelous experience. I highly recommend it.
