You didn't check the "Enable WinFS" box?
It looks like you won't be even able to do that with the release of the actual Longhorn OS. :(

Tried it. It's a rather nice set of themes, sidebar seems useless though (you can disable it, it's just flash web content).

I dunno, I'm going to wait for the official MS release of the Avalon and Aero for XP update, which apparently they've been talked into doing by their OEM customers. I just hope that it is available for more than just their MediaCenterXP versions.

It's just a theme. It updates your uxtheme file with a hacked one so you can use any theme you like.

So this just another visual style working off the existing skin system in XP?

If thats the case whats the big deal? There have been longhorn themes out forever, none of them being that great.

I'm not usually the type that will download and mess with eye candy programs like this. That being said this is a great little add on. Been messing with it at work, didn't want to mess up my home system you know. ;) So far no problems and I really like the looks of things. Best looking theme/skin/whatever you want to call it that I have seen since back in the day when I was running OS/2 2.1 and using Stardock's original Object Desktop to make it look better.

Bottom line on this. No problems with it....and I like the eye candy.

Christ this thing changed my fonts and now my public folders listings have truncated names! Uninstalling had no affect. Looks like I'll have to boot from IP tonight and load from the Ghost server in Florida. ah heck me! Installing Far Cry and D3 yet again... (if I can get those guys to include images for games on the corporate ghost files! :p )

Cheers!

Weird....haven't seen anything like that at all. Maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't run into any problems.....

Actually the problem seems to corrected itself.

Probably due to these stupid policies and stupid roaming profile setups and the stupid network in general. Or it could be a case of PEBKAC. Today hasn't been good.

Cheers!

So does this run as an add on app like WinXP Theme and Windows Blinds, or is this just replacing/adding to the WinXP themes that are coded in the OS?

Other than fonts has anyone noticed any performance issues or other problems after installing?

Thanks!

I agree. As I couldn't seem to enable any other themes at all for some reason I also uninstalled it... :)

I installed it. Its nothing special, and it DID make my computer run slower. Start up speed was much slower, and it just wasnt worthit. You can find the same themes and what not all over the web, so its a waste. I unistalled the pack, and put default XP settings. I did keep some backgrounds tho:p
