Longest Tranciest Trance Song?

I don't want a mix, I want a 30+ min song that just goes on and on that you can easily lose yourself in...female vocals are a plus 😉

Got anything?

A song that goes for 30 minutes? I'm not aware of any.
Sasha stuff would be a close bet, topping 10 minutes.
Not the stuff in the last year or two mind you. Quite possibly a remix of a song too, I don't know of many original songs that are that long.
You might be able to find some old GOA that fits over 15-20 but that's pretty crazy.

Course I could be missing a bit, I don't keep up with the new stuff and it's been a while since I religiously listened like I should.
It's starting to get hazy. 😉

Not aware of songs that go on for that long, but Hamrer Hippyer by Heilung (14 mins 16 sec) is the longest trance? experimental folk? song I've found. It's pretty trancy to me.

And by bumping up a 20 year old thread, I'm guessing you're connected to whoever that is and are spamming us about it?

If the OP is still around, there are some soundscapes that fit.

i think i know trance stuff and i don't know any major artist that does that. There's several good reasons too why i think this.

1. it's a business and issues of sales formats, record length, and similar, that make it impractical to sell/publish a song of this length.
Despite there existing several albums of a number of genres who fancy themselves being "one song", it's just multiple songs tied together.
2. musically, it would be seriously.fucking. repeptitive. People who write trance aren't Glenn Gould and they sure won't have studied variations in conservatory.
3. Trance is *meant* to be mixed, so again the long runtime works against the song being a viable product.

this is for *major* artists.
Also, "trance" means very little today, what do you mean? OG trance? 90s trance? 2000s trance? Goa Trance? Psy Trance? Revival? Acid?
Im pretty sure you can find many 15m+ Psy trance songs just by looking on youtube, but really, that's the max practical length for a single side 45rpm.

Persian trance music is regularly twenty minutes plus with some pieces filling an entire CD.

Kayhan Kalhor’s Lost in the Desert Sky runs fifty nine minutes.

A lot of New Age could be considered 'trance' like and there are major artists in that field. Some of the pieces are 20 - 30 minutes or more.
he well, just because it has a trance-like effect, it's not really "trance". Or maybe it is, depends what OP was looking for, a whole 20 years ago.
