Longest thread (post count) in AT history?

Well the threads that impressed me most was back in the days of UBB with 1,500 members and if I remember correctly there was a thread that hit like 800 posts. That was pretty impressive because people were not neffing just posting.

We just had one not long ago that was all neffing...and it was well over 2000 posts. That one cat subscribed to it and got 2000+ emails!

It got deleted so proof is not available...

still haven't figured out how to post so many in a row like that in such a short time

the rhyming thread went over 2k has well. ( lets post one word and you post the next)
The secrete socioty thread hit 1700 - 1900 posts ( i think)
The ignore this thread hit over 100 has well
The never ending story thread died at 1500 posts.

They are a few more, but i can remeber off the top of my head.

There was a thread titled "Ignore Me" in the Distributed Computing forum that reached 2K but, Seph's Anti-Nef thread turned great neffing was the longest getting to just under 4K posts before Zuni nuked it and shouted down the offenders.

will, if you include ALL forums on the net, the longest one is the 6000 post, 120 page "tell a story" thread on the freespace 2 forums at www.freespace.com. i don't know if they removed it or not.

i wonder if anyone subscribed to that...
