Longest thread on all of AT?

The butter thread, Dasm thread started by kilowatt in DC forums and the Hockey thread by Kami (yay! 😀) and another one where they just went nuts posting crap. These go well over 2000 range.
 
I have no idea, but... how long did the controversial dennilfloss threads go? Those appeared to be quite enormous.
 
how about the 9/11 threads? it got so long that they locked the older ones and start new ones right? would u have to count up all of them?
 
How about kev1n's thread where he was trying to get pics of this hotty he met at work? It was in the recent side of last year. Everyone was following it with cries of 'Pics?'
 
The "Butter" thread was the longest that I've heard of, though it was a little before my time. The "Member's Gallery" thread started by Kayes was also really long. And, our "Secret Society" thread started by jhu was pretty long.
 
back in the day when i first joined i made a thread and said like "everyone get ur nefs out" then i replyed 10 times with a "NEF" then people coppied me ...then one retartd came in and he posted like a bunch it was about 3000+ then it got deleted and we were banned..i begged and they let me back in like 1 sec ...lol...

Butter

Fellow named nowhereman started it, ranting about how he didn't like his butter cold from the fridge...he couldn't spread it properly....

It just never went away.
 
You know I don't like butter out of the fridge either. Worse yet, I freeze it so it last forever. That is really hard to spread. I use unsalted butter, because I like to control the salt especially in dessert making.
 
The infamous butter threads were before my time. I'd have to say the Gateway 6400 threads in Hot Deals, General Hardware and Off Topic several thousand posts long.
 
How about LukFilms Ebay/Monitor-thread? It was so long that mods closed the first thread and started a new one. How many posts did it have? In each thread and alltogether in both?
 
i've started 2 long threads. i posted the andara bare bones deal in hotdeals, and that got over 1000 if i remember. and i also posted some thread about ramen for 10 for a dollar in hot deals, and that was like 1000 posts somehow
