Yeah, I was just gonna call Mike Gaynor a cuntwaffle and go on with my day. :awe:

Yes.. Gaynor doesn't have eits on the ropes. In this "e-fight" eits wasn't even in the ring and Gaynor simply threw himself on the canvas kicking and screaming.

Darn, 11 year old necro, why do new members keep doing this?

Anyway...

Here's a list by RollingStone magazine, per criteria of OP. - Nov 2014

No breaks, no lineup changes, no hiatuses, no surrender

Now I thought I might have got a slap on my wrist for re-activating an old post but I didn't think I'd cause controversy with my name :)

So while ZZ Top has had the same lineup for 47 years, they don't count because they changed drummers in their bar band days before signing to a label?

Except that Geddy Lee has retired, and won't tour anymore.

Thats actually Peart. They never said they wouldn't tour just that they would be doing the big tours anymore. Geddy is up for it but they all agree they can't physically keep up the pace that hey have been. Show me anyone that has been together over 40 years that tours at the pace the were for the R40 tour. Only been a year since that tour ended. Anyhow I think the thread title is "Longest running band/group lineup" Do you know of any band lineup that ran unchanged for more than 40 years? They are probably done touring but you never know about these things. They may still record however from time to time. Point is even if retired the lineup never changed after 1974. almost their entire body of work was by the exact same lineup for 40 years. I can't think of any other band or group in the rock world that can say that.

What no Golden Earring?

25 studio albums 74 singles some 50 years same 4 dudes. Yeah some sax and horns came and went but they're just like backup singers.
