Discussion Longest RMA process?

4 months for a computer back in the mid 90s using Best Buy's extended warranty I purchased.

It died on the 16th day after I bought it, and the return period was 15 days. The manager refused to let me exchange it for another one (15 days only!!!!), and they shipped it off to be fixed somewhere. Whenever I called to find out the status of it, I basically was told "Don't know. Call back in a few weeks".

I was pretty pissed as it was the first computer I ever bought, and I paid all that money and had nothing to show for it for almost 1/4 of the year.
 
Logitech for my speakers like 14 years ago. They were doing the cracking as loud as thunder thing. They had me cut off the control pod and send it in. I shipped it with tracking and signature confirmation. I got the signature cared back but logitech said they never recieved it. I tried using the insurance for the package but the shipper said it was obviously a fly by night company and gave me no help.

Many calls later to logitech they told my I could ship the subwoofer to them. I shipped the huge ass subwoofer to them. They contacted me and told me they had no stock and they would send my speakers when they got new stock. I waited a few weeks and called, same story , no stock. This went on for months. I think it took like 4 months to get my speakers back.

OH,. MSI video card thing. Took like 3 months but then they gave me the highest end card they made at the time
 
most RMA's I had took a couple weeks usually. The one MB I had took 1 month.

The Asus MB I RMA'd in 2017 took less than a week. I received the replacement less than 4 days after I had it shipped off. I was shocked that it arrived on the Friday. I thought it would take weeks.
 
Just checked g card warranties.Zotac has 5 years.Wow.Open up to devious abuse im guessing."hey Zotac i want your current fastest card"like for like in the current hierarchy" haha,not going to happen
