US Army - 3yrs
BS job in college - 4yrs
1st real job - 4.75yrs
2nd real job - 4.25yrs
3rd real job - 16-months and going.............

Common for people in Silicon Valley to bounce every 2-3yrs.
 
current job, will be 8 years in the fall if I'm still employed.

it was my first job out of college... I like it enough that I'm not actively looking elsewhere, though I've gone on a few interviews when friends or friends-of-friends knew of openings. I don't think I'd jump ship unless a new job offered me a significant pay increase, though (like, 10-15K/year more)
 
17 years and will be out of a job next month...company closing.

Yikes! Now, I'll know how it feels to be getting unemployment benefits.
 
same company- coming onto 9 years this year but been through 6 different positions in those 9. longest span was 4 years in the middle
