Girlfriend and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Aruba and are looking to plan a weekend trip sometime in April as our next getaway

located in Boston and would most likely shoot for a fri night - monday travel.

Already ruled out a trip to NYC or Orlando

Obligatory "just have sex" posts need not bother please

I'm curious as to the responses here, I'm supposed to plan a similar trip with my wife in April.

Wanna double-date? ;)

It would help if you'd give us an idea of what you'd like. There are obviously a huge number of things you could do.

The wife and I take mini-vacations quite a lot. A few ideas:

1) Vegas if you've never been
2) Plenty of places in California. Sonoma, Napa, Carmel/Big Sur/Monterey, San Diego, etc.
3) One of the many islands. There are plenty off the coast of Georgia and northern Florida.
4) Prince Edward Island
5) Portland, Seattle. Portland if you're into wine, especially Pinot Noir
6) If the weather is nice, there are nice places in New Hampshire, Vermont, etc. I have friends in Meredith, NH. Beautiful around there.
7) Somewhere in the mountains. The wife and I like spending weekends around Blue Ridge, high up in the mountains.
8) Tahoe

Ok, I'm running out of ideas. Give us some criteria... :)

1) Been there plenty and would want to be there longer than a long weekend flying from boston
2) cross-country flights kind of put a damper on short vacas
3) just got back from Aruba in January. Looking for something different
4) not warm enough
5) see #2
6) define these "nice places"
7) I'm intrigued. Tell me more
8) wouldn't you want warm weather for that?
