This morning I went to shut down my computer but during the process I got a BSOD. Couldn't read the entire error message but the computer rebooted. I noticed a longer than usual time in post (or pre-post) but eventually it booted back into Windows. Toke down this error report:

"Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID : 1033

Additional information about the problem:

When I got back home today, the computer just got stuck on the post screen (or whatever the motherboard manufactuer splash screen is called). Eventually I just held down the power switch to power off and unplugged the PSU from the power supply for a while and tried booting again. I did get into windows but once again I noticed the additional time the system seems to be "stuck" before loading windows.

Any clues or suggestions?
