Dodge won't get to grab all the headlines with its Challenger muscle car concept at the Detroit auto show in January, according to AutoWeek, a sister publication of Automotive News. Sources say General Motors will show a Camaro concept on a stretched Kappa platform - the one used on the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky. They say the car is scheduled for production as a 2009 model. The Camaro debuted in 1967 before being phased out in 2002. Sources also say the other GM concept for Detroit won't be a Pontiac Firebird, but more likely a Buick crossover.
