We (husband and I) are going to be heading down to FLA with his parents a week from today.
I really don't like driving that much (long drive, ~21 hours) so what are some things that one can do to keep busy?

We have a laptop, ipod, dvds magazines, but what else?
Any road games to play to pass time besides spotting license plates and BINGO?

I could take some NyQuil and pass out, but that is somewhat rude 😉
So what to do?

Sign up for Audible.com and put some audio books on that Ipod of yours. Most unabridged audio books are 12 plus hours long and a great way IMO to pass time while on the road.

Where are you driving from? I made it to FL (Where I'm going to school) from NY (Where I used to live) in 18 hours, I know that when you get in NJ that you can use the NJPD's wireless connection for a decent amount of time 😛

Picnic game kept my sister and I busy for about an hour on our trip to Cali...

I am going to a picnic and I am bringing...

no adult things as we will be two feet away from his parents.

I guess i need to find a good book then.
I can't do video games though. no interest in them.

We cannot fly as we choose to drive down there with them. My father-inlaw is deathly afraid of flying so the only way we could get them to go on a cruise with us is to drive down to FLA.

Keep the ideas coming!

PS, we will have two cameras.
