see here my ranting about how cs1.4 is gonna destroy cs and n00bize it completely (7th reply or so)

that gave me a pretty good idea.... im sure there are many veteran cs players that agree with me that cs1.3 is the way it should be and that if anything there should only be an upgrade for bugfixes... and not to mess up the whole gameplay.
why not then hack cs1.3 and create a new mod called like "CS Forever" or something thats just like 1.3 with maybe the bugfixes and that we can play this and im sure lots of ppl will ditch sierra and gooseman and all when they see how they're spoiling the game in 1.4 ...

plz PM me if you're serious about this cuz i sure am...
 
i hate to admit this but i started at 1.0 just before the transition to 1.1

frankly i think that altho it might have been a lot better, 1.3 is quite good as is and is not worth discarding...

actually, i thought beta 4 was the last good version of counterstrike. THEN it started sucking, especially with the new rogue spear type crosshair and then complete slowdown of running. oh and gun running was cool too, but i think that was taken out even earlier.
